and now i swing out of this country, the way i sort of just swung in. there is little evidence left of me here, just my name carved into the wrists of some tree, a letter to who i am today buried in some forest, my chapbook on the nighttables of a few new zealanders who were so gracious as to buy them. the evidence of my time here is mostly in me. you can find it in my smile.
